Welcome to SideDish Social. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the SideDish Social website, platform, services, bookings, communications, and experiences (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. About SideDish Social
SideDish Social curates and facilitates social dining and café experiences through partner venues, restaurants, cafés, and other third-party service providers (“Venue Partners”). SideDish Social may organize, list, market, coordinate, or facilitate reservations and attendee participation for such experiences.
2. Eligibility
You may use the Services only if you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract under applicable law. By making a booking, you confirm that all information provided by you is true, accurate, and complete.
3. Bookings
A booking is confirmed only after:
- successful payment,
- issuance of a booking confirmation or reference, and
- acceptance by SideDish Social’s system.
All bookings are subject to availability, operational feasibility, venue confirmation, safety considerations, and compliance with these Terms.
4. Pricing and Payment
Prices displayed on the platform are inclusive or exclusive of applicable taxes as indicated at checkout. Applicable GST and invoice details will be provided in accordance with the booking and invoicing flow made available on the platform.
You are responsible for ensuring that your billing details, contact details, and any GST details submitted by you are accurate. SideDish Social shall not be responsible for invoice errors arising from incorrect details entered by you.
5. Nature of Service; Venue Partner Responsibility
SideDish Social works with independent Venue Partners. Unless expressly stated otherwise, SideDish Social does not own, lease, operate, or directly control the restaurants, cafés, kitchens, staff, premises, food preparation, liquor service, valet, security, hygiene processes, or day-to-day operations of Venue Partners.
Accordingly, while SideDish Social uses reasonable efforts to curate quality experiences, SideDish Social does not guarantee and shall not be responsible for the acts, omissions, errors, service deficiencies, delays, changes, closures, staffing issues, quality issues, menu changes, reservation disputes, overbooking, hygiene-related issues, food preferences, stock unavailability, licensing restrictions, liquor restrictions, force majeure impacts, or other operational matters attributable to any Venue Partner, except to the extent such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.
6. Changes to Venue, Timing, Format, Menu, or Experience
Experiences are dynamic and may be affected by operational realities. SideDish Social reserves the right, at its discretion, to modify:
- venue or participating restaurant/café,
- event timing,
- seating arrangement,
- menu format,
- host/facilitator,
- experience structure,
- inclusions and exclusions,
- capacity or attendee mix.
Where reasonably practicable, we will inform you of material changes in advance.
If a Venue Partner becomes unavailable, SideDish Social may, at its sole discretion:
- arrange a comparable substitute venue or experience,
- reschedule the event, or
- offer a refund in accordance with the Cancellation & Refund Policy.
7. No Guarantee of Particular Outcome or Experience
SideDish Social does not guarantee:
- any specific social outcome, match, interaction quality, compatibility, networking outcome, or attendee behavior,
- a particular restaurant table, view, ambience, cuisine variant, or server,
- uninterrupted or error-free operation of the platform or event.
Experience content, style, and venue ambiance may vary.
8. User Conduct
You agree to behave respectfully and lawfully at all times. SideDish Social may remove, deny entry to, suspend, or restrict any participant without refund if, in our reasonable opinion, the participant:
- behaves abusively, violently, threateningly, or disruptively,
- endangers other attendees, staff, or venue personnel,
- is intoxicated to an unsafe extent,
- violates venue rules, law, or public order,
- damages property,
- engages in harassment, discrimination, or misconduct.
9. Dietary Preferences, Allergies, and Health
Any dietary preferences, allergies, sensitivities, or restrictions communicated to us will be shared with the Venue Partner on a reasonable-efforts basis only. SideDish Social does not guarantee allergen-free preparation or accommodation of all dietary requests. You remain solely responsible for your food and beverage choices.
10. Age and Alcohol
Where alcohol is served, you confirm that you are of legal drinking age. Service of alcohol remains subject to law and venue policy. Venue Partners may refuse service at their discretion and in accordance with applicable law.
11. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Refunds
All cancellations, rescheduling requests, and refund requests are governed by the separately published Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SideDish Social shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or economic losses, including loss of opportunity, disappointment, travel costs, loss of profits, or reputational harm arising out of or in connection with the Services.
Without prejudice to the above, to the maximum extent permitted by law, SideDish Social’s aggregate liability arising from any booking or claim shall not exceed the amount actually paid by you to SideDish Social for the specific booking giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be lawfully excluded under applicable law.
13. Force Majeure
SideDish Social shall not be liable for any delay, change, suspension, or failure to perform caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, flood, fire, epidemic, pandemic, government restrictions, civil unrest, transport disruptions, strikes, supplier failures, power outages, or technical failures.
14. Intellectual Property
All content on the platform, including branding, logos, graphics, text, designs, and platform materials, is the property of SideDish Social or its licensors and may not be copied, reproduced, or exploited without prior written consent.
15. Privacy
Your use of the Services is also subject to our Privacy Policy. By using the Services, you consent to the collection and use of your information in accordance with that policy.
16. Suspension and Termination
We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Services or cancel bookings where required for safety, compliance, fraud prevention, misuse, operational constraints, or breach of these Terms.
17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Subject to applicable consumer law, the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana shall have jurisdiction.
